The story of these kids is both heartwarming and thrilling, blending a relatable neighborhood setting with a crucial life-saving lesson. This book is a must-have for any child's library, empowering them with the knowledge and confidence to potentially save a life. Highly recommended!

A valuable book for parents and grandparents!

This book is a must read for parents, grandparents, and everyone who guides children.

The author’s storytelling is easy to read but with a powerful message of how children can learn and remember the important basic steps of CPR.

I’m an RN and was impressed by how simply the CPR steps were laid out, and repeated frequently so all of the children in the story were focused and aligned.

Since summer is coming with many outdoor activities, it’s a great book to share with all of the parents and children you know. Perhaps they will be inspired to sign up for a CPR class as a family!

Fantastic book for grade school kids and teens! This book not only outlines CPR basics, but it teaches kids what to do in an Emergency; Get Help and Stay Calm. My second and forth graders LOVE this book. It is beautifully written and empowers kids of all ages.

Clarence and his Special Wing

A heartwarming story about love, friendship, and embracing our differences

While visiting her Nana, Emma seeks out a feathered friend at lunchtime. Clarence is a wise and friendly owl who lives in a beautiful magnolia tree in Nana's back yard.  His left wing is shorter than his right, but he has learned to adapt.

Emma is a beautiful 5 year old girl who has a unique hand- a limb difference known as symbrachdactyly- and the two become good friends. Clarence explains to Emma that although they have differences, everyone has features that make them unique and special.

Clarence and his special wing is a beautifully illustrated story which is told in rhyme to help children with physical differences understand that we are all unique in some way- some differences are just more visible to others.  These differences should not hold us back or prevent us from pursuing our dreams.
